BRANDING: Design choice: buick excelle - Wendy Cheung, Creative director, Bates Shanghai

And given the heavyweight design expertise behind the car, it is only expected that the Buick Excelle will stand out.

The interior and exterior design was developed by top Italian design house Pininfarina, which combines the modern and dynamic with the grand and elegant. The result is a car that is intentionally made with a European and classic image.

The sedan's proportions are perfect and the sculptured lines unique.

The design gives bystanders the feeling that it is modern, dynamic and elegant.

The interior styling exudes both a European touch, which bestows the car with a classic and sleek image. The light, inviting beige and tan hues coupled with the right materials also create a warm and cosy environment for both driver and passenger.

The features of the sedan - high efficiency, fuel economy, smooth handling and quiet engines - add to the overall effect.

Equipped with the latest generation Twin-tech engine, the Buick Excelle's fuel economy is high. This is just one of the advanced technology features built into the car. Yet what's unique about this edition of the car is that it represents a merger of global resources with a strong dose of local understanding.
