According to sources, Ogilvy, BBDO and Publicis are said to be involved in the pitching process. The brief includes creative, media and digital duties.

Copenhagen-based IICG plans to invest US$1.2 billion in China over the next five years. It currently operates 28 shopping centers worldwide each with an IKEA store establishment. According to a company statement, the China plan involves building two ‘super regional shopping centers’ in Beijing and Wuxi.

IICG's flagship store will be based in Beijing along with a second IKEA retail outlet. Construction is set to finish in 2013 for Wuxi and 2014 for Beijing.
