OMD Thailand appointed AOR for instant coffee brand

BANGKOK - OMD Thailand has been appointed media agency-of-record for Super Coffeemix, a popular instant coffee brand, after a pitch involving incumbent agency ZenithOptimedia.

OMD Thailand will handle all media duties for the brand, including buying and planning across all media. According to Nielsen figures, Super Coffeemix 2010 annual media spend in Thailand totalled just under US$1.5 million

Singapore-listed Super Coffeemix is a pioneer of the 3-in-1 instant coffee concept.

"OMD Thailand's understanding of our business, coupled with their suite of strategic media solutions in planning and buying helped us to make the decision in selecting them as our ageny of choice," said Peter Tan, executive director of Super Coffeemix.

Paul Spencer. managing director of OMD Thailand, said the agency was looking forward to stregthening the brand position and equity in the country.
