Qantas | I Still Call Australia Home | Australia

Qantas has released the latest spot for its signature 'I still call Australia home' campaign.

Over the years the campaign has taken on an international theme and has featured a choir singing in different cities across the globe. However, Qantas is putting the focus back on Australia and tells the story of a boy summoning children to join him in the heart of the country, Purnululu National Park.

Performed by the Gondwana National Indigenous Children’s Choir, Australian Girls Choir and the National Boys Choir of Australia, the campaign theme song is re-written in one of the native Australian dialect - Kala Lagaw Ya.

Singleton Ogilvy & Mather has long been the creative agency behind the project. The campaign is named after the titled song written by Peter Allen in 1980 and aims to draw on a sense of “home coming” emotions from the voices of 180 singing children.

Qantas’ website includes behind-the-scenes videos and downloads which features the choir in different parts of Australia, as well as a collection of previous ads in the series.
