Process implementation lead
Oliver+
Malaysia

In the fast-evolving world of digital project management, Tan stands out as an exceptional leader who deftly harnesses tech for operational excellence. As the process implementation lead of Oliver+, her work lies at the cutting edge of business and new developments such as AI and automation. Her current role focuses on integrating AI and automation into Oliver+’s workflows, and her recent turnaround of an automation project earned client praise.

Graduating with a diploma in Multimedia Design from The ONE Academy, Tan first made her mark by winning the ANIWOW2009 China’s Best Animation Interface award. Her journey from standout internship to leading roles in local agencies swiftly revealed her talent for leadership, culminating in her promotion to studio manager at VLT KL within just one year. Her early success at VLT KL included leading her team to win the Malaysian leg of the AngelHack hackathon, bringing her talents to the international stage at TechCrunch San Francisco.

Tan’s dedication continued as she joined Oliver in 2019, quickly advancing to project director, where she managed high-profile accounts, including PayPal, Diageo, and Unilever. She led her team to manage a portfolio of prestigious brands like PayPal and Reebok and introduced ‘On-Site Ways of Working’, a comprehensive framework that boosted client satisfaction and optimised workflow consistency. Her influence also extends to creating training frameworks like the ICE curriculum, which is now used globally. These initiatives set new benchmarks for process excellence, enhancing quality and productivity across Oliver’s teams.

Tan’s impact also encompasses creating an inclusive culture and advocating for women in project management. Her journey, marked by resilience and innovation, continues to inspire her team and peers, establishing her as a true trailblazer in the digital project management landscape.
