Stewart takes on EMEAI role at Moto

SYDNEY - Neil Stewart has confirmed that he will shift into a new role at Motorola, overseeing marketing for the company's new geographic region of Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI).

Stewart takes on EMEAI role at Moto

Stewart will remain based in Sydney, where he previously headed marketing for Motorola's high-growth markets unit, before the mobile giant disbanded the structure in favour of one based on traditional geographies (Media, 12 January). Stewart will continue to report to global marketing chief Jeremy Dale, and EMEAI head Allen Burn - who relocates from New Delhi to Copenhagen.

"The focus on low-tier markets hasn't gone," said Stewart. "At a global level, we are looking at how we capitalise on the opportunities, such as growing the Razr franchise,  low-tier and music and entertainment segments."

Former North Asia marketing head Ian Chapman-Banks now oversees A-P marketing.
