Soundbuzz seals iriver music deal

Purchasers of ReignCom's iriver MP3 player will now be able to access an online music database as a value-added service, following its tie-up with Singapore application and online music provider, Soundbuzz.

Soundbuzz seals iriver music deal
The Soundbuzz catalogue includes more than 300,000 songs, from Western Top 40 hits to Bollywood, Mandarin and Canto pop. When consumers load their iriver software post-purchase, a Sound- buzz-provided application will allow them to easily search and download -- for a small cost -- music from its database.

ReignCom, a Korea-based manufacturer and owner of online music store Funcake, will also provide Korean music to Soundbuzz.

Soundbuzz CEO Sudhanshu Sarronwala: "I believe that people will see this as one more reason to buy. It may not be the only reason, but I think it is a very important reason."
