Max PR, an independent communications consultancy set up in 2010, is tasked to increase awareness in Singapore of SHF’s activities and the importance of heart health.

This is the second year Max PR will handle the communications duties for SHF. It is understood that around four other agencies were involved in the pitch.

James Yi, managing partner of Max PR, said there is still a lot of confusion and lack of understanding among the Singapore community about what SHF does.

He said, “We want to make more effort in terms of engaging the relevant stakeholders in a higher capacity and getting the message out.”

Vernon Kang, CEO of the Singapore Heart Foundation, added, “With the support of Max PR, we look to continue to increase awareness about the importance of heart health throughout the community.”
