SACEOS strengthens positioning with new branding and tagline launch

Conventions. Exhibitions’ now replaces the association’s full name in its corporate identity
sign-off.
SACEOS president, Edward Liu, said: “With the launch of our new tagline, SACEOS will
be the all-embracing association representing the entire meetings, incentives, conventions
and exhibitions industry in Singapore.”
Liu said SACEOS had to re-invent itself, to be in step with the changing MICE landscape
in Asia.
It will “help to refresh the MICE sectors in Singapore and reposition our MICE industry to the world of commerce and tourism”.
Previously perceived as focussing more on exhibitions and conferences, SACEOS will now boost recognition of the meetings and incentives components, which are growing rapidly.
Eight sub-committees have been formed to augment the association’s activities. Among
them is the meetings, incentives and conventions sub-committee, co-chaired by Janet Tan-Collis, CEO of East West Executive Travellers and Tay Meilin, general manager of Pacific
World Singapore.
