Publicis Groupe acquires G4 and restructures its Nestlé Greater China team

BEIJING - Publicis Groupe announces today that it has acquired local agency G4, and will restructure its Nestlé Greater China team to reinforce the team and boost its market share.

G4, a Bejing-based full-service advertising agency launched in 2009, has been working on design and creative expertise, event management and consulting for Nestlé in China. It handles brands including Nescafé, Nestea and all beverage products, as well as Nestlé petcare brands such as Purina.

Publicis Beijing handles all of Nestlé's infant milk brands and milk powder division.

G4 will be rebranded as Publicis G4. The Publicis Beijing Nestlé team will move to the new agency to service Nestlé throughout the Greater China region.

Laurent Beloeuvre, the current MD of G4, will head the new entity, and will take on the additional role of Greater China director on the Nestlé account.

In November 2009, Nestlé appointed ZenithOptimedia as AOR to handle its US$3 million Taiwan media account.
