MRM Worldwide Japan acquires Insentiv Media

TOKYO - McCann Worldgroup subsidiary MRM Worldwide will takeover independent web marketing agency Insentiv Media, in a move that should bolster the IPG agency's web marketing and development capabilities in Japan, according to McCann president and CEO Kevin Ramsey.

MRM Worldwide Japan acquires Insentiv Media

The deal is effective 1 October and will see Insentiv Media’s founder Geoff Dosser become chairman and chief creative officer, with MRM’s Masayoshi Tadimi as representative director, president.

Stephen Cox, who joins from independent digital marketing company DOE, will take on the role of digital strategic lead, while Ogilvy & Mather's Tokohiko Ohmura will be named senior group account director.
