Motiv8 lures HK Mediaedge:cia chief Brian Boys

Brian Boys, who has headed the WPP-owned media agency for about four years, said he was making the move to "focus more on what clients appreciate and pay for".

"Motiv8 is firmly committed to creating value in terms of building brands and driving sales rather than have senior management engaged in mostly business maintenance for the agency such as writing internal reports and the like.

"It is an agency which is re-igniting a new sense of understanding among clients about what marketing communications companies can give them - not just ads but everything from strategic marketing to ads."

Brian Boys has both agency and client experience, having worked as regional marketing director at Alfred Dunhill to partner at the Ball Partnership.

His main role will include business development, account management and marcoms planning.
