Miller shifts from Carat to launch Vizeum Malaysia

Aegis Media has launched its second media agency offering in Malaysia after Carat, in partnership with Naga DDB and helmed by Andy Miller as CEO.

Miller shifts from Carat to launch Vizeum Malaysia
Naga has a minority stake in Vizeum's third office in the region (Media, October 21, 2005) and has shifted two of its accounts previously serviced by OMD -- Nippon Paint, worth RM 5.9 million (US$1.6 million) and Perodua, worth RM 6.3 million -- to the new office. Vizeum will also handle Kurnia Insurance, Herbalife, High Five Bread, KLIA Express, NationCom and M&C Wireless. "Vizeum is Naga DDB's preferred media partner, but is positioned as independent," said Miller. The office currently has 15 staff, including two senior hires -- former Dentsu head of media Connie Tan in the same role and Lim Ailian as client services director. Miller said the office would take head count to about 30 within the next two to three months. Previously CEO of Carat Malaysia, Miller's former role has been filled by group account director Roy Tan as MD.
