Milk+Co further expands creative team

KUALA LUMPUR - Milk+Co, formerly DDB International, has hired Hasnah Samidin (pictured) of JWT KL to work as a co-ECD with Yap Pow Hoong.

Milk+Co further expands creative team

Two months back the agency had beefed up its team by hiring two art directors from JWT and two creatives from Draft FCB. JWT happens to be the former agency of Milk’s MD Neal Estavillo.

Commenting on Samidin’s appointment Estavillo said, Hasnah has a strategic approach to creativity. She is not creative for the sake of creativity. AT JWT, she helped gain visibility for a number of brands. I am hoping that she will use her experience to build the young team at Milk+Co.

Samidin, who hails from Singapore, had joined JWT in 2002 and has worked on accounts like Nestle, HSBC, Great Eastern Insurance, Kimberly Clarke, Pfizer and Sony. Prior to that she was with Grey Worldwide.

In the last few months Milk+Co has been seeking to make a mark for itself in Malaysia’s advertising scene. The agency has recently won two new accounts including GTower (a new concept property) and Protech Yu (Fish Protech Controlled Aquaculture System) by Goldis Berhad.
