McCann Philippines wins Ceelin

MANILA - McCann Erickson has won the creative assignment for children's vitamin brand Ceelin after a competitive six-way pitch against incumbent Jimenez/Basic, Campaigns & Grey, TBWA, Lowe and Y&R.

McCann Philippines wins Ceelin
The Ceelin account - a brand under pharmaceutical giant Unilab - will be headed by McCann’s client service director Ramon Garcia, said Naney Villar, MD, McCann Erickson. However, she declined to reveal the billings of the account. Garcia currently handles other Unilab accounts such as Biogesic and Appebon.

Media duties are handled by Starcom. Business intelligence site Espicom estimates the Philippine pharmaceutical industry to be worth US$1.3 billion as of March 2007. Ceelin, according to Villar, is the top children’s vitamin supplement in the country.
