Macau Macau's newest five-star property, The Landmark hotel, celebrated its soft opening in November last year. The grand opening is scheduled March or April 2004. The hotel has positioned itself as a five-star hotel catering for corporate meetings and business travellers. Sixty per cent of total business comes from corporate guests, with the Asia Pacific region being the main source market. The hotel is centrally located on Avenida da Amizade. It is only five minutes drive from the Macau Ferry Terminal and 15 minutes drive from Macau International Airport. The 451-room hotel has a Noble Club Lounge on the 22nd floor serving continental breakfast and cocktails exclusively for Noble Club Floor guests. The Lagoon ballroom located on basement can hold 600 people theatre-style, 280 people classroom-style, or can be used as a banquet venue seating 384 people. The multi-functional ballroom is divisible into three separate parts. The hotel provides conference rooms at the business centre for smaller meeting groups. The Landmark Macau has two Chinese restaurants, one western and one Japanese restaurant, one poolside bar on the fifth floor and also two lounges for drinks and karaoke. Pharaoh's Palace Casino is opens all night.
