JWT tipped for McDonald's Thailand

JWT is set to land the business after a pitch involving Fareast DDB, Spa Advertising and incumbent Leo Burnett, say sources.

McDonald's stated that no decision has yet been made, and declined to comment on the news. JWT declined to comment while Leo Burnett was unavailable for comment.

The review followed a change of ownership at McThai Co, McDonald’s Thai operating unit. In October 2006, the McDonald’s franchise was acquired by local businessmen Vicha Poolvaraluck and Hester Chew.
