Emirates launches review for its $126 million global media account

Emirates has launched a global media planning and buying review. The incumbent on the account is IPG Mediabrands.

The network won the airline's business in 2020, with UM London understood to be leading on the account.

According to COMvergence, the global account is worth $125.8 million in billings annually.

Prior to IPG Mediabrands winning the account, Havas Media Network, then Havas Media Group, was the incumbent and had been since 2013.

Campaign understands that the review does not affect VML's CRM work with the airline.

Emirates did not respond to Campaign’s request for comment and IPG Mediabrands declined to comment.
