Baron takes on global Microsoft role

MSN Asia's regional sales manager, Jonathan Baron, is moving to the UK to take on a new global position with Microsoft.

Based in London, Baron will run the international clients team for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions, a new central unit set up to sell across a range of Microsoft products, launched last month. The role - group sales manager, Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions - will cover Asia, the US and Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He will manage a team of sales managers based in Hong Kong, New York and London.

Baron came to Asia two years ago to run MSN Asia's pan-regional sales. He joined Microsoft in 1999, with a stint as agency sales director at MSN UK.
