ABME entries hit 310 and Procter GM to head jury

The second Asian Brand Marketing Effectiveness Awards has attracted nearly 310 entries from across the region, with India, China, Singapore and Hong Kong leading the tally.

Judges at this year's show, organised by Media, include last year's ABME platinum award winner Cerebos Thailand's marketing director Tul Wonsuphasawat; Audi China head of marketing and PR Peter Hirschfeld; British Airways' marketing manager for Greater China/Philippines, Choi Fong; Pernod Ricard Asia marketing VP Horace Ngai; Argha Sen, head of marketing and CRM, Toys R Us; and New World Mobility's marketing VP Melanie Lee. Michelle Kristula-Green, regional MD of Leo Burnett, M&C Saatchi's MD for Greater China Janice Chan, Landor's director of marketing and brand strategy Mark Kennedy, Wunderman's president Mike Langton and ChinaLoop's Gabriele Chou will also sit on the judging panel. The jury head is Austin Lally, general manager of fabric and home care and feminine care business, Procter & Gamble. The gala awards dinner is scheduled for October.
