McDonald's shows CNY through the eyes of children

A sweet, nostalgia-tinted Chinese New Year ad from DDB Group Hong Kong.

There's nothing not to like in this 60-second commercial from McDonald's, via DDB. It has a simple storyline and cute kids, and it does a great job tying the brand into wholesome enjoyment of a holiday feeling. On a craft level, Ad Nut particularly appreciates the warm, rich, golden-hour look of the film.
