In a joint statement sent to Media from Ogilvy & Mather Greater China chairman TB Song and Bates 141 chairman Jeffrey Yu, Leung is set to build “a much stronger customised integrated agency offering, [at Bates 141] starting with Shanghai General Motors”. Leung's new role at Bates 141 is regional director of Asia and will report directly to Jeffery Yu.
Song foresees the handover of Leung’s expertise to “strengthen Bates 141’s activation capabilities in China and Asia”.
Leung has been with OgilvyAction for two years, initialising the growth blueprint for OgilvyAction in the area of Last Mile Activation.
