Samsung sponsors first 3D outdoor projection in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - Samsung Electronics has become the first advertiser to promote its products with a large-scale, three dimensional "out-of-home building projection". Approximately 40,000 viewers in Causeway Bay witnessed a 3-minute animation of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S II on 19 August repeated over a two-hour period. 3D mapping technology was projected onto the L-shaped building exterior of Hang Lung Centre. POAD is the OOH media owner working with Hang Lung Properties.

Highlights from Hong Kong's 'Tram shelter advertising contest'

Jointly organised by Hong Kong Tramways and POAD Group, the ‘Tram shelter advertising creative contest 2011” award presentation ceremony was held at Harbour Grand Hotel in North Point on 21 June. The theme for this year’s contest was 'Hong Kong’s pride', and around 130 pieces of innovative designs were received. To share the artistry and creativity of the winners with the public, the Gold winner’s designs will be displayed in actual size from 21 June to 4 July.
