Ogilvy hosts open-house for K1ND innovation unit

Ogilvy & Mather recently held an open house and celebration at the new Singapore office and design hub of its "brand innovation unit" K1ND (pronounced ‘One Kind’). Launched six months ago, K1ND is a partnership with Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB). Guests took part in a hands-on exploration of the latest in wearable technology, robotics and drones, vending machines of the future and other mobile/retail innovations. K1ND's mission is to focus on digitizing product experiences and developing innovative digital services. Ogilvy says K1ND has driven product and brand innovation for clients including Mondelez, Huggies, Coca-Cola and SingTel. The unit's "crack team of technologists, inventors and cross-discipline creatives" has also launched a partnership with Nanyang Polytechnic's School of Digital Media, according to the agency.
