Tan ends a 12-year spell with M1

For now, all marketing functions will be channeled through chief marketing officer P Subramaniam. A replacement is believed to have been found, but the company will not reveal his identity.

Tan joined M1 in November 1996 and has held various positions in sales and marketing before her appointment to director of marketing services.

She was part of the team that handed Y&R its advertising account in February, replacing former incumbent TBWA\Tequila Singapore (Media 5 February).

Before M1, Tan was marketing and communications manager at Seagate Technology International. She began her 20-year career in marketing at Canon and has also worked at Compaq Computer.
