Starcom trumps OMD, Universal for Digi brief

Starcom has been awarded the account to handle Digi's media business after a three-way pitch against incumbent OMD and Universal McCann.

The agency is believed to now have necessary resources and manpower to handle a sizeable account like Digi, after major client Malaysia Airlines began freezing adspend last year amid mounting losses. Naga DDB was handed the creative part of the business after a pitch last April.
