Power List 2020: Asia-Pacific's 50 most influential and purposeful marketers

Presenting the complete list of Asia-Pacific’s brand marketing standouts, as chosen by the editorial team at Campaign Asia-Pacific.

Power List 2020: Asia-Pacific's 50 most influential and purposeful marketers

Campaign Asia-Pacific is proud to announce the 2020 Asia-Pacific Power List, our selection of the region's most influential and purposeful marketers, presented in partnership with Twitter.

Much has happened since we launched the inaugural list with intense interest just over a year and a half ago. Now, at a time when brand marketers are working harder than ever to re-engage meaningfully with consumers amid great upheaval, we're looking to recognise those leading the way with direction and purpose.

It'll be an understatement to say that it's been an eventful 2020 so far, and we're only halfway through it. During this period of crisis and uncertainty, it's more important than ever to recognize great leadership and their achievements. Twitter is proud to partner with Campaign Asia-Pacific for our #LeadersForGood program to present The Asia-Pacific Power List, which celebrates the most influential and purposeful marketing leaders in our region. Through this global-first partnership, we aim to spotlight leaders from brands who have led the conversation by helping, informing, and inspiring meaningful work and action that has made a tangible difference during this time. I am looking forward to engaging with them.
Maya Hari, Vice President, Asia Pacific at Twitter

The marketers you see in the list below are once again the most influential in our region. But they are more than just brand caretakers. They seek to communicate and engage consumer communities with meaningful work and action that can make a difference.

Some will already be familiar, as 18 marketers return from our inaugural list. But nearly two-thirds of the 2020 list is comprised of new faces as brands rise and fall, CMO duties and priorities shift and individuals enter new opportunities. Together, the 25 women and 25 men on this list are currently based in 13 countries across Asia-Pacific working in a variety different verticals, from banks to beauty products and from payments to platforms. While the list was the again subject to much debate and many rounds of intense discussion among Campaign's editors, we’re confident that the list represents the region’s best.

Congratulations to all members of the 2020 Asia-Pacific Power List: The region's most influential and purposeful marketers.
