The media agency has also extended its service to other areas of the Tesco Lotus businesses.

OMD Thailand’s portfolio with Tesco Lotus will include Tesco Lotus branding, customer and product communication as well as the promotion of its stores and businesses.

“OMD Thailand’s understanding of our business coupled with its strategic thinking and dynamic team spirit are pivotal to our decision in selecting them as our agency of choice”, said Gwyn Sundhagul, director and chief marketing officer of Tesco Lotus.

Sean O’Brien, managing Director of Omnicom Media Group, Thailand, added: “This was not a traditional media brief and one of the more exciting pitch briefs that we have received in years. It gave us an opportunity to demonstrate our strategic capabilities across multiple areas of their business and I am extremely proud of the efforts of the whole team in winning this”.
