New World Hotels selects DraftFCB for integrated marketing

HONG KONG - New World Hotel Management has handed its integrated marketing business to DraftFCB without a pitch, after previously working with smaller local agencies.

The development comes as the hotel chain plans to relaunch its brands across Greater China. DraftFCB associate account director Cindy Hah (pictured) said that the client spoke to several agencies before selecting DraftFCB.

The chain’s presence is currently limited to China and Vietnam, and Hah added that Asian expansion is on the cards.

“We will target mainland and overseas business travellers,” said Hah. “Their hotels are not yet in the league of the top-end global chains, but can certainly stand shoulder-to-shoulder with chains like Marco Polo and Renaissance.”

The new campaign will roll out this summer in China, and regionally.
