Levi Strauss and Co. has elevated Vicky Skelton as managing director, East Asia-Pacific, effective immediately. With more than 13 years of experience with the brand, she was most recently general manager for Canada. She first joined the company in 2012 before climbing the ranks across sales management and taking on director-level roles in digital selling and transformation. She will lead commercial operations across all channels to build sustainable, long-term growth in the region, in addition to guiding strategy for marcomms and branding. Her remit includes Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and North Asia. Her designation follows Campaign's 2025 Powerlister Samuel Minns' appointment as head of marketing, APAC, in September 2025.
Publicis Chemistry has appointed Mus Zainal as group creative director. He joins from Monks, where he spent over five years leading campaigns, innovation design, and AI-led storytelling. Bringing over a decade of experience in tech-driven creative work, he was previously creative director, APAC at Monks, leading activations for Bibigo, Squid Game, Singapore Zoo, and Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Previously, he held art director roles at Dentsu X and McGarryBowen, where he created global social and digital campaigns for brands including Singapore Airlines. He announced the move on LinkedIn.
INVNT has elevated Sarah Bailey to executive creative director, APAC. Based in Singapore, she leads the agency’s regional creative team across physical, digital and hybrid work. Her step up from senior creative director follows the agency's expansion of its culture-led experiential offerings. She brings more than 20 years’ experience in cultural programming, luxury hospitality, experiential strategy and digital innovation, leading campaigns for brands such as Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini and Emirates. She previously held senior strategy roles at Publicis and Freeman, where she led client partnerships and integrated marketing. She was named one of Campaign Asia’s Women to Watch in 2023.
Mastercard has appointed Alexandra Sloane as vice president, integrated marketing and communications, Australasia, effective January 21. Based in Australia, she will oversee brand strategy and integrated marketing across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, spanning B2B, partner and consumer marketing, sponsorships and communications. She will also lead Mastercard’s sponsorship portfolio and digital brand platform Priceless.com. Sloane joins from Optus, where she led brand, network, sponsorship and events, and previously headed enterprise and business marketing. Before Optus, she spent a decade at Meta in Sydney and Singapore working across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
Havas-owned communications agency H/Advisors has opened a Hong Kong office. The agency has appointed Candise Tang as senior director to lead the firm’s operations in Hong Kong and Greater China. Based in Hong Kong, she reports to H/Advisors Klareco co-founders Shih Huei Ang and Mark Worthington. Bringing over a decade of strategic communications and public affairs experience across markets, including Hong Kong, mainland China, and APAC, she previously held leadership roles at SEC Newgate.
Former AirAsia Brand Co. CEO Rudy Khaw has launched Lobby Hours on January 19, a creative venture, following his departure from the airline in October 2025. The venture will span brand strategy and development, as well as projects in music, advertising, fashion capsule collaborations, and animation. Khaw spent 18 years with AirAsia, leading high-profile campaigns and partnerships featuring Taylor Swift, 88rising, and MotoGP, spearheading the airline's brand and IP efforts globally. He was named in Campaign Asia's 40 Under 40 in 2024.
Tata Communications has named Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as managing director and chief executive officer. With over 30 years of international management experience across multinationals, B2B start-ups, and Indian enterprises, and was most recently MD and group vice president for ServiceNow India and SAARC, where he led market growth for the business. Lakshminarayanan was previously CEO of Airtel Business in India and earlier headed Airtel’s enterprise business unit.
FedEx has elevated Salil Chari to regional president, APAC, effective immediately. With nearly 30 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, and growth transformation at FedEx, he was most recently senior vice president, marketing and customer experience, APAC. He first joined the company as a marketing analyst in 1997 and has been based in the US, Hong Kong, and, currently, Singapore. He will oversee some 30,000 staff, leading strategy, operational excellence, and driving profit. He succeeds Kawal Preet, who is taking on a global strategy role. He announced the role on LinkedIn.
Fast food chain Guzman y Gomez Singapore has promoted Adora Sarah Chou to chief marketing officer. She first joined the company as director of marketing in 2024. With over 15 years of experience in brand management and market strategy, she's previously worked in leadership roles with Foodpanda, Restaurant Brands International, and Pezzo Group. She has led operations and sales channels for brands including Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Hortons across APAC. Mobile growth platform Digital Turbine has appointed Sea Yen Ong as regional vice president, sales, APAC. He will oversee brand and agency strategy across the region to scale campaigns and build partnerships with carriers, OEMs, and 82+ SDK-integrated apps. Based in Singapore, he was previously country general manager, global business solutions at TikTok. Prior to this role, he was regional head of sales, SEA, Hong Kong, and Taiwan at Spotify. Bringing over two decades of experience in integrated marketing, digital and media strategy, and sales management, he began his career at Ogilvy One in Malaysia.
PIABO Communications APAC has appointed Erica Wong as editor-at-large, who will lead brand communication and long-form content strategy. Based in Singapore, she will report to APAC managing director Sara Pereira. She was previously managing editor and editor-in-chief at Google for over five years, spearheading Think with Google APAC, which focused on marketing research and digital trends.
Olivia Kaufmann has departed AKQA, where she was managing partner since 2024. On LinkedIn, she announced that she left the agency to build a lifestyle brand. Previously, she was managing partner at WhiteGrey, and has held account management roles at Havas and ODD.
Singtel has appointed Derrick Heng as chief commercial officer for international digital services. He joins from Indonesian telco Telkomsel, where he spent over four years at chief marketing oficer. Bringing over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, business development, and brand management, he will lead digital solutions across the region and work closely with global partners. Cheil Indonesia has appointed Nayeon Chae as digital service lead, overseeing Samsung's B2B and B2C digital operations and driving the agency's intergrated digital capabilities. Her experience spans multi-platform content strategy and social media network operations in markets including South Korea, China, Singapore, and Canada. In this role, she will spearhead platform governance across owned and commerce channels, in addition to embedding data, testing, and performance to improve digital optimisation.
Robert Gilby, the former chief executive of Dentsu Asia-Pacific, has joined Sqreem Technologies as group CEO. Sqreem is a cognitive AI company specialising in audience intelligence, using behavioural data to understand, map and predict human behaviour. Gilby left Dentsu in late 2024, having taken on the role of CEO for the group’s Asia-Pacific business in 2022. Prior to that, he served as APAC president at Nielsen. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, including over 25 years in Asia-Pacific. Before joining Nielsen, Gilby was the founder and CEO of Blue Hat Ventures, an investment and advisory firm, and has also held senior roles at WarnerMedia and Walt Disney.
GO Communications has appointed Andreas Vogiatzakis as its non-executive chairman.
Vogiatzakis brings decades of leadership experience across global media agencies and multinational markets, most recently as group CEO of Star Media Group, Malaysia’s largest integrated media organisation. His career spans senior roles in the United States, Greece, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia, where he has led some of the world’s largest media networks, including Publicis, GroupM, Omnicom and Havas Media Group, before taking the helm at Star Media Group.
Taylors Wines has appointed FMCG branding studio Molasses across its portfolio of brands, as the family-owned winery continues its evolution under its new brand platform, ‘For All Time’. Molasses will work with Taylor's Wines to refine the intent and delivery alongside existing agency partners, 31st and AND. Molasses was appointed without a pitch and selected for their strategic, design-led approach and ability to work across brand campaigns for retail and shopper activation.
