InSing.com hits a million unique visitors

SINGAPORE - SingTel Digital Media's inSing.com has reached its first million unique visitor month in August, making it one of Singapore's leading web destinations, according to Nielsen.

The website, which launched officially in May, aims to become the go-to destination for local lifestyle events, search and food listings. According to Hitwise, InSing.com already ranks as the sixth most popular Singaporean website.

CEO of SingTel Digital Media Varsha Rao
said: “We are extremely excited and encouraged to see the quick adoption of inSing.com. The site has been well-received and we are pleased to see users visit our site on a regular basis, returning often to explore the frequently updated content we publish.”

InSing.com is one of several initiatives by leading Singaporean telco SingTel to expand beyond being just a carriage service provider to a media owner.

The local lifestyle portal was also recently embroiled in an online advertising gaffe as one of its online ads had appeared in a pornographic site through an error by a third-party ad placement partner.
