CIA has won the media buying and planning account in Asia-Pacific for Nokia's new luxury mobile phone brand Vertu. CIA, which has experience with working for other luxury marketers such as Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), pitched for the business against Nokia's rostered agency Initiative Media. Vertu will be launching a range of luxury mobile phones made from precious materials, including gold, platinum and sapphire. Owned by Nokia, Vertu is, however, run as an independent business unit.
