FCB Jo-burg takes home Cannes Grand Prix in Press
FCB Johannesburg scooped the Cannes Grand Prix Press award last night for its 'Periscope' Lego campaign, beating 11 Lion winners from Asia for the coveted prize.
Asia took home three gold Lions, awarded to JWT India for Levis, Ogilvy & Mather Thailand for Kodak and Ogilvy's Singapore office for a Touch Community Service campaign. Ogilvy took the region's biggest haul of Lions, bagging six of the 11 awards handed to Asia.
Other winners included Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, which snatched a silver for Lego Singapore, and Lowe Kuala Lumpur - awarded a bronze Lion for Nailz World. McCann Erickson Singapore's General Nutrition Centre and Leo Burnett India's Maneland Jungle Lodge campaigns were each handed bronze Lions at the award ceremony.
