Best of show for graphics event goes to Asaba

HONG KONG: Asaba Katsumi Design of Japan has won the best of show

at the inaugural Asia Graphics Awards.



The design house beat more than 600 entries from around the region to

pick up the top accolade for its "New Dreamscapes for the Dongba

Scripts" submission for client, the Lijan International Dongba Cultural

and Arts Festival.



Alan Chan Design and Tommy Li Design, both of Hong Kong, picked up the

most prizes - three awards and four certificates.



The judges said the event, organised by media, was off to a good

start.



Judging standards were high - out of 51 categories, awards were given in

25 of them, while another 23 were canned.
