It is understood that three agencies, including Carat, MEC and OMD, attended the pitch held in Thailand last week. The pitch is across the company’s portfolio of product brands in Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Among the brands under Beiersdorf are Nivea, Nivea for Men, Eucerin, Hansaplast, la prairie and Labello.
In May, Nivea launched a US$1.4 billion global campaign, its biggest to-date, to promote 100 years as a skincare brand. It broke across the UK, Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Poland, Switzerland and Italy last week and reaches the Middle East and Asia.
The campaign is DraftFCB's first work for the brand since it won the lead global advertising account in November last year, on its estimated US$700 million ad account.
It is understood that Aegis Media Asia-Pacific handles Beiersdorf's media in the region.
