Commenting on the win, David Mitchell, COO of Naga DDB, stated, “We’re tremendously excited about the partnership with one of Malaysia’s leading banks and look forward to working together with them to reach greater heights."

Added Ted Lim, deputy chairman and ECD of Naga DDB, “From DiGi’s Yellow Coverage Fellow to Perodua cars to Nippon Paint’s Blobbies, we demonstrated time and time again that we know how to use communication to create a unique position in people’s hearts and minds.”

It is believed that no agencies were pitching for this account and Naga DDB was hand-picked on the basis of its strong credentials in building some of Malaysia’s well-known brands.

The assignment will officially commence on 1 October.
