Lena Goh moves to Microsoft

SINGAPORE - Lena Goh (pictured), the consumer communications director of mobility devices at Motorola, has joined Microsoft as the marketing and public relations director of mobile communications business for Asia Pacific.

Based out of Singapore, Goh’s new role will see her define Microsoft's communications strategy and promote the "adoption of Windows Mobile as the preferred smartphone platform to the Asian consumers".
 
Goh joined Motorola as a marketing manager and has spent more than five years with mobile manufacturer. Prior to this she has also worked with two of Singapore’s biggest telcos Singtel and M1.
 
"It has been a great experience being part of a very talented team that brought innovations like the first mobile phone, first 3G phone, first RAZR fashionably thin phone, first Chinese handwriting recognition touch screen phone and more... to the market," said Goh.
 
Motorola is in the process of finding a replacement for Goh.
