Linda Hassan, who spent nearly 16 years transforming Domino’s presence across Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, has officially stepped down as group chief marketing officer. She announced via LinkedIn. Her final day was August 4, 2025. Hassan joined Domino’s in 2010 as senior manager of marketing and steadily climbed the ranks, taking on expanded leadership for Singapore and Cambodia before being appointed group CMO in March 2020. Her tenure was defined by pioneering digital innovation and brand-building strategies that elevated Domino’s in one of Asia’s most competitive quick-service markets.
Before Domino’s, Hassan logged 12 years at Burger King Malaysia as deputy director of marketing & procurement. She has been recognised as one of Asia’s most influential marketers, featuring in Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Power List for both 2023 and 2024.
ANZ is taking its Australia and New Zealand media account to pitch. The review will kick off in September with an initial market assessment. PHD is the incumbent and will participate in the pitch process. The Omnicom shop has been working on the account since 2012 and extended the contract in February 2025.
Global media intelligence firm Carma has promoted Dennis Wu to general manager. In his expanded role, based in Hong Kong, Wu will oversee operations and business growth in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan. He will work closely with Sabrina Azmi, research solutions director, to uphold and enhance client service standards across the region. Wu joined Carma in 2019 as business development manager and was promoted to business development director in 2022.
Colenso BBDO has appointed Jack Cumming as managing partner, based in Auckland. Originally from Scotland, Cumming joined the agency after spending over four years at BBH London as business lead, where he oversaw several brands, including Barclays, Pernod Ricard (Martell), and Samsung. Before London, he worked in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
WPP Media Hong Kong has entered a new phase following the global rebrand of GroupM to WPP Media. Mindshare, Wavemaker, and EssenceMediacom will continue operating as distinct brands within WPP Media. Silas Ho has been promoted to SVP, client leadership, now oversees all client teams across accounts previously managed by separate agencies. He joined Mediacom in 2013 and was previously managing director of EssenceMediacom. Rose Tsang has been appointed as SVP, media management and delivery, leading the media management & delivery team in Hong Kong. She joined GroupM 11 years ago. She was most recently head of digital enablement and business operations. Both reports to Michael Beecroft, CEO, North East Asia.
Tilt, a Singapore-based creative and media agency and subsidiary of HM International Holdings Limited, has been appointed by Markato, a Hong Kong-based distributor specialising in Korean beauty brands, to lead the content creation, social media, and influencer marketing for the launch of Wellage, a leading Korean skincare brand making its Singapore debut in July 2025. Tilt’s role encompasses end-to-end digital storytelling, from pre-launch awareness and influencer-led content to ongoing engagement across platforms and driving trial, traffic, and conversion both online and in-store.
MCG Talent has announced the sale of its Asia business to managing director Charlie Bowsher, in a management buyout (MBO). Founded in 2016 by Justin McGuire and under the joint leadership of Justin McGuire and Adam Toctan, the business expanded its presence across Singapore and Hong Kong. Earlier this year, Toctan exited the business. McGuire also made the decision to fully exit the Asia business and focus on his personal brand consultancy, coaching practice, and the expansion of MCG Talent’s Middle East operations. Charlie Bowsher will assume full operational and strategic control, becoming 100% owner post-earn-out. He first joined MCG Talent several years ago and has played an instrumental role in the firm’s growth across the region. McGuire will remain involved in an informal advisory capacity during the transition period.
Densu has appointed Rob Harvey as chief executive officer, ANZ. Harvey, who will be based across Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney, brings more than 25 years of experience in media and marketing. He joined Dentsu Aotearoa in 2011 as managing director, media, and has served as CEO of the New Zealand network. His appointment aligns with Dentsu’s Mid-Term Management Plan and strategic focus on accelerating growth through Media++. Nick Keenan has joined Tabcorp as general manager of Max Gaming, following over four years as chief executive officer of Starcom Australia. Keenan will oversee Max Gaming’s market-leading compliance, integrity and technical services. Prior to Starcom, he was CEO of Red Rooster and held senior management roles at CrownBet, CrownLotto, Maxus, MediaCom, and NewsCorp. He announced the change via LinkedIn.
PubMatic has appointed Takeo Hori as senior director, advertiser solutions for Japan. Hori will lead demand-side sales and drive engagement with advertisers and agencies while spearheading business development initiatives. He was previously head of sales at Teads and led advertising at Microsoft Japan, where he oversaw agency partnerships.
Orange Line, an independent digital marketing agency based in Sydney, has appointed David Castle as head of organic. With over a decade of experience in SEO strategy, product innovation, and AI-led search, he will lead the agency across SEO, communications, and outreach. Orange Line also welcomed Federico Taboadela as paid media director, Maja Drottman as paid media executive, Jack Reid as SEO director, Sofia Ignatio as outreach coordinator, and Luka Russell as junior content writer.
SEC Newgate has appointed William Brocklehurst as managing partner of its SEC Newgate China business. Brocklehurst, who will be based in Hong Kong, will lead the firm’s next phase of growth and development across the Chinese market, with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. He will take over the business from James Hill, who joined SEC Newgate in 2020 and is returning to Europe after serving as managing partner for five years. Having worked in the Chinese market for over a decade, Brocklehurst joins SEC Newgate from Brunswick, where he served as a director in the Hong Kong office. Previously, he also worked for the consultancy firm Teneo and the healthcare company Bupa. Prior to working in Hong Kong, he worked for the business group CBI in the United Kingdom.
FCB Aotearoa has promoted senior creative Tim Gavriel and senior art director Aaron Carbines to associate creative directors. The creative duo first paired up nearly a decade ago at DDB Aotearoa, from Auckland to Ogilvy London. They joined FCB in 2021, working on some of the agency’s most talked-about and recognised work.
Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong has promoted Sarah Tam to chief customer officer, marketing & partnership, effective from August. In her new role, Tam will oversee the marketing growth plan for Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong and lead the team in delivering strategic business goals based on customer and distribution channel insights and analytics. She joined Cigna Healthcare in 2024 and brings over 20 years of diverse marketing and digital experience in the insurance and financial services sector, including Blue, Chubb, and Swiss Re.
Spirit of Tasmania has appointed PHD as its media agency of record, following a competitive pitch. The agency will provide strategic direction and media buying expertise for the travel company, which links mainland Australia with Tasmania for passengers, vehicles and freight. Atomic 212° was the incumbent.
Mutant Communications has announced two new senior leadership appointments.
- Archana Menon has been promoted to oversee both its Singapore and Malaysia operations. Menon first joined the agency in 2021 as country manager for Malaysia.
- Allen Looi has been appointed as regional head of social across all markets. Looi joins Mutant from Naga DDB Tribal. Before DDD, He also led social efforts at IPG Mediabrands and Coca-Cola.
Monks has elevated Evelyn Hsu to VP marketing communications APAC to lead Monks' marketing and communication efforts in the region. Hsu joined Monks (formerly known as MediaMonks) in 2021 as senior marketing and PR director for North Asia. Before her tenure at Monks, Hsu served as regional marketing and communications director for APAC at FCB. She has also worked at Wieden + Kennedy and Ogilvy in previous roles.
Electriclime has announced the exclusive signing of Korean director Jisun Lee for the APAC and MENA regions. Lee has been based in New York City, with her work spanning across music and fashion, using her strong background in graphic design. She has a stunning visual style and has directed standout campaigns and content for top-tier brands, including Sony Arista, Instagram, Samsung, LG, Hypebeast, Cadillac, Hyundai Motors, Tommy Jeans, Vogue, GQ, Oribe and Invesco.
oRo Taiwan, the Taiwanese branch of Tokyo-based integrated cloud solutions and marketing communication services provider oRo Co., Ltd., has appointed Yosuke Miki as director. Miki joined oRo in January 2024 as regional managing director, overseeing business development across key overseas offices including Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and China. Previously, he worked for Hakuhodo Inc., Accenture, and The Walt Disney Company.
Jaz Lee is back at Leo, stepping in as executive creative director for Southeast Asia to lead the Samsung account across the region. Reporting to Emir Shafri, chief creative officer of Publicis Groupe Malaysia, Lee will also collaborate closely with Firzan Mulafer, managing director at Publicis Communications Malaysia, and Paolo Garcia, chief creative officer of Publicis Groupe Vietnam. Lee’s return to Leo marks a full-circle moment: he first joined the agency as a junior copywriter in 2014 and rose to associate creative director by 2019. After nearly six years as executive creative director at Ogilvy Malaysia, he’s officially back with Leo as of August.
Think HQ has appointed Sarah Wood as its new Sydney director, succeeding Lorraine Jokovic, former Sydney general manager and ex-CEO of Loud. Jokovic is stepping down after leading the agency’s Sydney integration since September 2024. Wood joins from creative and innovation agency Slik, where she spent four years in senior management, rising to managing director. Earlier in her career, she held senior business director roles at global experience agency Imagination, overseeing projects across Australia and Asia Pacific.
Coles has called a pitch for the Liquorland creative account as part of a brand unification push, according to Australian media. Coles liquor retail brands include Liquorland, Liquorland Cellars, and Liquorland Warehouse. Until now, Coles Group’s wider creative and media duties have been handled by Smith Street, in partnership with OMD for media and DDB for creative, though these agencies have not overseen the liquor brands.
Nicholas Worley has taken on the role of executive director of branding and communication at Hillhouse Investment. He previously founded and led communications for digital legacy startup Inalife. Before that, Worley spent over fifteen years in senior public relations and marketing roles, working with global PR agencies and leading in-house teams across the Asia Pacific, with experience at firms including Bain & Company, Deloitte, and Hines.
