Sun Life recruits via social networks

BEIJING - Sun Life Everbright Life Insurance has launched a social networking campaign to boost employee recruitment for its sales force.

Working with Eight Partnership it has launched a recruitment website in online community Xiaonei, titled ‘Sun life super agent', to attract bright talent to the firm.

The campaign targets over-25s. A branded page has been created within Xiaonei, where community members can take an interactive, tongue-in-cheek viral quiz to test their ability to be a ‘super agent'.

The quiz then links them to the official Sun Life recruitment mini-site where they can learn more about the company and apply for new job openings.

The campaign is being promoted through banner ads, eDM and keyword searches across the Xiaonei site.

Sun Life Everbright is a joint venture between Sun Life Financial and the China Everbright Group.
