StarHub deal aimed at expanding cable TV services

StarHub has inked a deal with software company Nagravision that allows the broadcaster to expand its cable TV services, including expanded video-on-demand content and a la carte packaging.

Aimed at providing greater flexibility for consumers, StarHub said the alignment will enhance its newly-launched Smart TV service.

"We already have one of the most flexible packaging options in the world, but we will continue to build on our variety of attractive packages to cater to the unique and changing needs of our customers," said Mike Reynolds, StarHub's head of integrated products and marketing.
