Standard Chartered Bank has become the first advertiser on the new property portal.
"It is part of our ongoing marketing efforts to add value service to our readers," said a On.cc spokesperson. "On.cc website has a mass coverage, ranging from first time property buyers to property investors. The new website is supported by our financial website money18.on.cc and ONTV support, feeding regular instant property news and video news update, property market analysis, and interior design trends. Second hand property listings, among others."
Oriental's newspaper currently publishes a property page covering property news. The new online section will be a more centralised platform for financial advertisers initially, but would also be an additional marketing platfom for premium household brands to capture high-spending consumers.
Oriental Daily is running promotional ads in its newspapers and magazines to promote this new service.
On.cc is the online portal that covers daily news from Oriental Daily and Sun Daily, and boasts of 2.73 million monthly unique visitors.
