Media's editorial-dictator-in-residence, Suzanne Miao, recently
tripped the light fantastic for the last time on stage at Igor's in Hong
Kong, playing to a sold-out crowd of enthusiastic friends, industry
contacts and complete strangers.
Her final appearance at Igor's coincided with the announcement that
Igor's, a phenomenally successful horror theme restaurant which features
a full-blown dinner cabaret, is moving to Singapore.
Upon hearing the news, D'Arcy Hong Kong creative Francis Cleetus was
virtually inconsolable.
"What am I going to do? Where am I going to go?" he wailed,
plaintively.
Concerned, as always, Vine asked why he was so upset - after all, there
were plenty more restaurants which weren't moving to Singapore.
"Because Igor's is the only place in Hong Kong where I can just wear my
wig and relax," he sniffled.
