Lonsdale, an international branding and design agency, has promoted Anjali Vasudevan to strategy director in Singapore. Vasudevan has played a pivotal role in Lonsdale projects for local and global brands since joining the agency in 2022 as senior client director. With more than two decades of experience in advertising and design, Vasudevan began her career in India before relocating to Singapore in 2012, where she has worked with agencies including McCann, Design Bridge, Jones Knowles Ritchie, PI Global, and Bulletproof.
 
Marketing and adtech agency AdSpark, under the Brave Connective Holdings, has appointed Jose Manuel “Manny” Fernando as CEO, effective September 1. Fernando joins from McCann Worldgroup Philippines, where he was CEO and managing partner at MRM//McCann Manila, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, digital innovation, and marketing transformation.

The Auckland-based agency Colenso BBDO has announced new appointments:

  • Sienna Mark-Brown has been appointed design director and will relocate from London via Koto Studio, leading the agency's design strategy for global brands and mentoring the next wave of designers.
  • Riana McKenzie and Zoe Perrin have been appointed senior copywriters, and were previously based in Australia with TBWA and Clemenger BBDO respectively.
Petrie PR has been selected as the public relations partner for Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), a leading firm in hospitality and lifestyle design with offices worldwide. This strategic partnership marks a significant step in supporting HBA's ongoing growth and enhancing its presence in Asia.
 
DO. Asia has appointed Noelle Segundo as general manager. for its Philippines office, replacing Sandra Hsu, who is departing the agency. Segundo most recently spent 11 years at TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno, last serving as senior service director. This announcement comes following the recent appointment of Simon Lockyer as DO. Asia managing director and a number of recent regional wins, including Lazada, Vinfast and Glad.
 
Jaywing, a brand, experience, and performance agency, has extended its partnership with small business insurance platform BizCover and the fast-growing pet wellness brand, Lyka, leveraging its expertise in organic search strategies through SEO, Digital PR and AI optimisation. Last month, Jaywing and its sister digital product and UX specialist agency, Frank Digital, were acquired by Merchantwise Group, Australian integrated marketing and media company. 
 
Redhill, a Singapore-headquartered full-service global communications agency, has launched its newest office in Mongolia. The agency has offices in 20 countries; this is their 34th office globally. Saruul Khatanbaatar, a former World Bank consultant, will helm its Mongolia operations and lead on delivering public relations strategies, digital, design, crisis communications, and sustainability storytelling. She was most recently the executive director of the National Committee on Global Communications of Mongolia and the co-founder of the social enterprise Equity Lab.
 
Independent full-service creative agency Those That Do has appointed Claire Sutton as its new creative director for Sydney, Melbourne, London and Dubai offices. Sutton comes with over 15 years of creative experience and expertise in design, illustration, and visual communications. She will work closely with founder and CEO Ben Walker. She jumps from independent shop Paper Moose, where she served as the creative lead. Prior, Sutton has held senior roles at Purpose, Reset Australia, Republic of Everyone and Clemenger BBDO and worked with global clients such as Patagonia and Absolut.
 
M+C Saatchi Group ANZ has appointed Rhian Mason to the newly-created role of managing partner across the agency’s Passions & PR business, which includes M+C Sport & Entertainment, Social, PR and Influencer. Mason joins from Clemenger BBDO, where she established and led an earned attention offering as head of cultural design. With 15 years of professional experience, previously, she served as head of creative amplifications at Emotive, head of social and content at DDB Group Australia, and Mediabrands Content strategy director across EMEA and head of native content in Australia. She will be based in Sydney and report to Robin Clarke, global CEO of M+C Sport & Entertainment, and Tanya Vragalis, managing director of M+C Saatchi ANZ.
 
Dentsu Creative Isobar has appointed Dhruv Tiwari and Zubin Jauhari as group executive creative directors, India. Reporting to Abhijat Bharadwaj, chief creative officer, Dentsu Creative Isobar, both of them will spearhead the agency’s creative vision for a rapidly growing portfolio of ambitious brands. Tiwari joins from DDB Mudra, where he turned the North office into a powerhouse of creative excellence. Jauhari returns to Dentsu, bringing a decade of pioneering work that has turned brands into cultural landmarks. His work has won Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia Grand Prix, and Kyoorius Black Elephant.

BlueFocus, China’s leading digital marketing agency, has appointed Vicky Xu as its new general manager in Singapore. Xu was previously the regional manager of Greater China Agency and key commercial accounts at Grab. Prior to joining Grab, she held marketing roles at Criteo, Salesforce, and Meta. Xu steps into the new role after Abby Ling Yi left BlueFocus to join Nativex.

Monks has promoted Dixi Chern to general manager, Shanghai, in China. In his new role, Chern will partner with Danny Lee, managing director of Monks Greater China, to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering AI-powered business-driving marketing solutions across China and the broader APAC region. Chern joined Monks in 2021 as senior business director. Previously, he worked at TBWA, MullenLowe, Starcom and Possible.

Mondelēz International has appointed Abhiroop Chuckarbutty as president of its Southeast Asia Business Unit to lead growth and strengthen the company's presence in the region. Chuckarbutty, who previously led the sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit and has over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, and operations across multiple markets, aims to harness the evolving snacking trends in SEA driven by urbanisation and digital adoption. He succeeds Hemant Rupani and is poised to drive sustainable growth and deepen consumer connections for Mondelēz’s brands in SEA. 
 
FWD Insurance has appointed Gavin Lai as chief marketing and digital commerce officer, Philippines. Lai was previously VP of branding and marketing for FWD Insurance, based in Hong Kong. He joined the brand in 2017 as director of group product propositions. Before FWD, he worked at Reinsurance Group of America, Pacific Life Re, TAL Life, and CommInsure in Sydney to Asia. 
 
M+C Saatchi Performance has appointed Dinesh Sandhu as country director in Malaysia to strengthen its leadership and expand operations in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic digital markets. With over a decade of experience in Malaysia, Sandhu will build on the agency’s growth arc by enhancing full-funnel, data-driven marketing and deepening client partnerships. 
 
Dentsu Queensland has appointed Laura Henry as head of strategy, leveraging over a decade of strategic experience across media owners and agencies to focus on creativity, innovation, and impactful solutions for the agency's growing client portfolio. Previously head of creative at OMD Australia, Henry is set to join at a time of strong agency momentum, following recent wins such as the media account for Shine Justice and the retention of The Lottery Corporation. Her appointment aligns with dentsu Queensland’s continued growth and leadership, with a client roster including Tourism Whitsundays and Good Drinks Australia, among others.
 
Luke Farmer has been promoted to managing director of Bastion Creative Auckland, reporting to CEO Toby Sellers. With over 20 years of leadership experience in New Zealand’s advertising industry, Farmer is known for building collaborative teams and delivering award-winning, commercially successful campaigns across diverse sectors, including banking, alcohol, and automotive. At Bastion Shine, he will focus on driving operational excellence, new business growth, and strengthening client partnerships, playing a key role in managing major accounts like Air New Zealand and NordEast. 
 
Specsavers has appointed Ogilvy PR as its new agency partner to lead earned integrated communications across Australia and New Zealand following a competitive pitch, with New Zealand-based One Plus One collaborating with Ogilvy to support the plan. Ogilvy PR will work alongside Specsavers’ existing partners EssenceMediacom and TBWA to strengthen the brand's presence and connection. Specsavers chose Ogilvy for its earned-first strategic approach, fresh creative thinking, and shared values. Ogilvy PR aims to highlight Specsavers’ commitment to quality, style, and expertise, with the first campaigns expected to launch later this year. The change also marks a farewell to Specsavers' long-term PR agencies Mango NZ, AMPR, and Health Haus.
 
Snackbrands, a leading Australian snack food company known for brands like Kettle, CC’s, Cheezels, and Thins, has appointed Cummins&Partners as its new creative agency partner. The new full creative partnership will see Cummins&Partners lead brand strategy, campaign development, social media strategy and management, and production across Snackbrands’ extensive portfolio.
