Mindshare Taiwan will be tasked with providing integrated marketing solutions, which includes the core media and buying tasks, as well as internet execution and product placements.
In Taiwan 3M currently works with various agencies including David Advertising, Draft FCB, McCann Erickson as well as several local agencies. "One of our challenges is how to come up with an integrated media planning solution, while working with multiple creative agency partners and products,” said Tomo Chen, director, The Exchange, Mindshare Taiwan.
The monitored media billing for 3M Taiwan in 2008 was US$2.7 million.
3M's key product has products in the homecare, office, medical, transport and industrial sectors.
The 3M account win follow the agency’s recent win including Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation and 2009 Deaflympic.
