Lexmark takes a lifestyle tack in Singapore pitch

Lexmark has taken a lifestyle tack to accompany the latest phase of its global 'uncomplicate' campaign in Singapore, which sees the launch of new office and consumer printers.

The company recently rolled out two consumer printers -- the X2350 All-in-One (AIO) and the Z735 inkjet -- along with the monochrome office laser printer W840 in Singapore, and is aggressively positioning itself as a provider of easy-to-use products. "Our brand has always been diligent about listening to customer needs and to simplify the printing process, resulting in our message to 'uncomplicate'," said Lexmark Singapore's country manager, Loh Teck Heng.

According to IDC, Lexmark is ranked third in the local all-in-one printer market, with a 22 per cent share. Lexmark's launches accompanied initiatives to take a more lifestyle-oriented tack in Singapore, with sponsorship of Female's '50 Most Gorgeous People' event, and collaboration with the first Singapore Bloggers Conference.
