Health Promotion Board appoints Tribal DDB as digital agency

SINGAPORE - The Health Promotion Board (HPB) in Singapore has appointed Tribal DDB as its digital agency to manage and deliver integrated services for its adult and youth programmes across new media platforms.

Sarojini Thanarajah, deputy director, resource development service, corporate marketing and communications at the Health Promotion Board, pointed to greater use of social media by the Government body. “Tribal DDB demonstrated a strong understanding of our programmes’ agenda. We hope that through their expertise and keen sense of the latest trends in new and social media, our programmes can reach a far greater audience more effectively and intelligently.”

Jeff Cheong, head of Tribal DDB Singapore, added: “Health programmes require the right mix of grass-roots marketing and technology to create a better impact. We are thrilled with the appointment and we will be co-creating new channels of communication with the HPB.”

DDB is currently the creative agency for HPB’s adult health programmes while Ogilvy & Mather is charged with youth health programmes.

The latest appointment for Tribal DDB comes after a slew of new business wins including Changi Airport Group and ION Orchard  among others.
