Euromoney magazine has topped the popularity polls in Asia-Pacific
among senior executives of banks and financial institutions and
financial managers of the largest borrowing companies, a readership
survey has revealed.
According to the study by Ipsos-RSL, the publication scored the highest
in the monthly category with 38 per cent of respondents saying they read
the magazine, which is published in the UK and circulated around the
world.
It was followed by Asiamoney, Bloomberg Magazine, and Institutional
Investor.
Because of the importance of Asia and buoyed by the results of the
survey, Euromoney will devote the entire February 2000 issue to the
economies and capital markets of the Asian region.
In the daily section, the Asian Wall Street Journal was not surprisingly
the victor with 38 per cent of respondents giving that publication the
nod.
Euromoney senior manager for Asia Marcus Langston, said: "Euromoney was
right up there with the Asian Wall Street Journal in terms of the
quality of the readership being studied".
