Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has acquired ecommerce solutions provider Bluecom Group, which will be integrated into Isobar China Group and rebranded as “Isobar Commerce”.

Isobar Commerce will work with mobile commerce arm Verystar-Linked by Isobar to offer a full suite of ecommerce and mobile-commerce capabilities for clients' omnichannel strategies, according to DAN.

Bluecom's managing directors, Patrick Deloy and Florian Legendre, will join the Isobar leadership team to drive strategy and business development for the rebranded group. They will both report to Jane Lin-Baden, CEO of Isobar Asia Pacific.

Lin-Baden said Bluecom's existing multi-market footprint with particular strength in China is an ideal combination to support Isobar's further growth in the region.

Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific, said Bluecom is a "clear market leader" that will "provide strong acceleration to our capabilities, helping us futureproof our business.”

Bluecom has solutions partner status with Enterprise Magento, SAP Hybris and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
