Adidas has put its global media account up for pitch, with four agencies thought to be chasing the business: Carat, the incumbent on adidas, Mediacom, OMD and Starcom.
The review is thought to have been triggered by adidas' takeover of Reebok, which it finalised last month, as part of a cost-saving move by the sportswear giant to consolidate media into one supplier. Presentations for the Asia-Pacific portion of the business are expected to take place later this month.
