OMG Philippines hires Regie Gavino, promotes Joseph Sales

MANILA – Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has appointed Regie Gavino and promoted Joseph Sales to directors positions, effective immediately.

Regie Gavino has been appointed communications planning and insights director, responsible for building communications strategies across platforms and mediums, bringing ideas to life through research and consumer insights for OMD and PHD in the Philippines. She was previously head of marketing at Splash Corporation.

Meanwhile, Joseph Sales, has been promoted to the position of director of platforms. Sales joined OMG in January 2009 as digital solutions manager. In his new role, he will be charged with conceptualising high-level strategies for the network’s digital operations across both OMD and PHD.

Both Gavino and Sales will report to Hermie De Leon, president and CEO of Omnicom Media Group Philippines. On Gavino’s appointment, De Leon said, “We are very pleased to have Regie on board. She has a strong track record and fantastic understanding of the marketing and media landscape. In our business, passion for innovation is pertinent for success. Her inquisitive nature, enthusiasm, combined with her professional experience and knowledge, makes her a great addition to our team.”

About Sales, he said, “I am pleased to activate this well-deserved promotion. Joseph’s knowledge of the digital landscape in the Philippines will definitely add value to our delivery in terms of client strategic communication planning service, as well as capitalising maximum market opportunities to drive business results.”
